What to Expect

Our first session is a chance to slow down and get curious about what’s been feeling difficult — whether that’s overthinking, pressure at work, or feeling unsure of yourself.

We’ll start with a relaxed conversation to get a sense of what’s going on for you and what you’d like to change. Together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and body respond in different situations, and find small, practical ways to create more space, calm, and confidence.

Sometimes we’ll talk things through, and other times we might explore how tension shows up in your body and what helps it release. There’s no rush and no right way to do this — it’s about noticing, understanding, and giving yourself permission to slow down and reconnect.

This is your time — a supportive space to feel heard, understood, and more at ease in yourself and your work.

Exploring Through Movement and Awareness

In our sessions, we’ll work with both gentle touch and verbal guidance to explore how your body and mind respond in everyday moments — like sitting, standing, walking, or speaking. These simple movements often reveal the habits of tension or reaction we’ve built up over time, especially when we feel under pressure.

By slowing things down in a safe, supportive space, you’ll start to notice these patterns and learn how to move — and think — with more ease. Over time, this practice helps you feel more present, calm, and connected to yourself, both at work and in daily life.

Talking Things Through

In our sessions, you’ll have space to talk about what’s been on your mind — what’s been stressful, confusing, or holding you back. At your own pace, we’ll explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours behind what you’re experiencing, and look at new ways of seeing things that can bring more balance and clarity.

Using different cognitive and practical tools, we’ll find what works best for you — helping you feel more confident, grounded, and better able to handle challenges in work and everyday life.

Resting in Active Awareness

During part of the session, you’ll spend around 15 to 20 minutes lying down in a comfortable, supported position — often called semi-supine. There’s nothing you need to do or achieve. I’ll gently guide you with verbal cues and light touch to help your body release unnecessary tension and return to a more natural state of balance.

This quiet, restorative practice helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and ease both physical and mental strain. It’s an active kind of rest — a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. (check video below to know more).
