My Story & Approach

If you have ever held back from speaking up, put others first at cost to yourself, or felt a quiet gap between who you are and how you feel able to show up, you are not alone.
I help young professionals who feel disconnected from themselves, often struggling with confidence or speaking up, to feel more grounded and able to be themselves. This is the kind of work I feel most drawn to, and something I understand from my own experience.
I am based in St John's Wood, North West London, working with clients face-to-face and online. If any of what you read here resonates, I would encourage you to get in touch.
My Story
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business. I completed a Master's in Marketing, an MBA in London, and later joined my family company as a partner.
In my twenties and thirties, I often felt the pressure to have it all figured out: to be confident, make the right choices, and stay composed even when I did not feel that way inside. Working in a family business taught me a great deal about human dynamics, particularly in high-stakes situations where relationships, decisions, and identity all overlap.
Those experiences showed me how deeply stress and self-doubt can affect the way we show up, and how much it can cost to keep holding it together on the outside while something quieter is going on beneath the surface. I also learned, slowly, how reconnecting with both mind and body can help restore a steadier, more grounded sense of self.
That personal experience, combined with a growing curiosity about how people change, led me to train in somatic and cognitive approaches. It is the same steadiness I try to help others find in their own lives.

My Approach
My work combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with somatic, body-based awareness. In practice this means we work on two levels at once: the thoughts and beliefs that keep you stuck, and the physical responses that accompany them.
Most of the people I work with are not in crisis. They are functioning well on the outside but carrying something they would like to shift: a habit of holding back, a tendency to put others first, a sense of unease around people, or a quiet disconnection from who they feel they really are. That is the kind of work I find most meaningful.
What I have found, both personally and in working with others, is that change rarely comes from thinking your way through a problem alone. The body is usually involved. The tightening before you speak, the instinct to shrink or accommodate, the breath that catches when you feel on the spot: these are not just symptoms to manage. They are part of the pattern, and working with them directly is often where the real shift happens.
My aim is not to help you become a different person. It is to help you feel more at ease being the person you already are.
